Lilian is unable to join us at the Women in Media 2024 partnership summit in the Great Hall at Queen’s University Belfast today so she has recorded this message about media representation, being a Derry girl, a Maasai woman, the first Black woman to be elected in Northern Ireland, and to hold the role of mayor in any local authority here.
